About me

Hi!

My name is Vojtech, and I am studying the Open Informatics with specialization in AI at CTU FEE in Prague, Czech Republic. I finished my Bachelor's degree in Cybernetics and Robotics in 2025 from the same uni, graduated with an A for my thesis about prompt optimization for LLMs. I now continue to work on this topic in a research internship at the Articial Intelligence Center at CTU under Jan Drchal PhD.

Followed a tutorial by Andrej Karpathy and trained it on my Facebook message data.

Bachelor's thesis

Accessible here. My thesis focused on Prompt Optimization in Large Language Models. I gained experience with agentic AI, API usage, cluster compute, and general optimization techniques such as genetic algorithms.

The relevant code is available here, and includes the prompt optimizer as well as a simple inference framework inspired by DSPy, featuring some inference-time scaling techniques.
